Gravy: dolce de leche (caramel sauce)

I bought centre of the toppers on Etsy.com as a PDF...

I printed the toppers, then put the backings and sticks on myself :) 

I LOVE the finished product!

I made three different flavours of cupcakes, 

and used white vanilla buttercream on all three

Vanilla

Lemon

Icing this cake was rough, the texture wasn't quite right...but I worked with it!

I had a hard time with my usual frosting tip...not so pretty...

My second attempt turned out really well!

A Magical Moment in Baking

I made these for Gilly's birthday (November 2011)

I was beyond disappointed when my PURPLE food colouring turned the icing BLUE :(...

...only to realize that overnight, they turned PURPLE (and stayed BLUE on the inside).
